For the soon-to-be Mom and Dad the arrival of their bundle of joy is the biggest event in life. We are after all celebrating a cherished new life. Also, it's a grand moment for the relatives and friends to welcome your tiny baby and have a great time. Your baby-shower can be an experience to treasure, start by planning lots of fun pictures.
Get excited! You're thinking about and planning for an amazing experience. You state of mind can be infectious to those around you. You're planning for parents that have a full plate and are very anxious, too. It is an honor to host a party for this special occasion. Just remember the planning and arrangements you do will be appreciated by everyone so much.
And if you are mom-to-be; let your best friend know how much you appreciate her and how very important she is, for helping you with your baby shower:)

So much to do, so many arrangements must be planned. Arranging for your special baby shower cake is so important and can be a difficult job. Even in today's world, many folks want to jump start their imagination to give a party that special personal touch.
Whether it is a baby boy or girl, many ideas may be considered to insure you baby shower cake is the cake of your dreams.
Themed baby Shower-
The cake you pick could come from you local bakery or perhaps you order that special cake on the internet. Your cake should blend with the theme of the baby shower.
Many themes can be made to please mom-to-be. A nursery theme may be a good choice. Also, different animals, toys or sports can serve as the themes for ceremony as well as the cake. Definitely it is not a must that your baby shower should be a themed one. But a themed party is something you should at least consider. No matter what you choose; formal or informal theme or just no theme at all you'll want to plan for your best possible cake to suit your wishes and needs.
Home made or a ready-made?
Are you excited to be creating a special cake, a unique cake that only your own hands and heart can produce? Or perhaps you're comfy picking your special cake from hundreds of photographs available from bakery, local supermarket or caterer? Or just look at the photos to get an idea.
Or even getting a bakery cake and putting the finishing touches on it may be perfect for your busy life. You can see truly fantastic results just making your own unique touches, too.
Perhaps you're a do-it-your-self kinda gal and want to bake you own cake.
Mmmm-Mmmm; there's nothing like the smell of cake baking in your kitchen, not to mention the heavenly taste of homemade cake with your special icing. Your decision on what cake should be done first in order to help you pick your next step.
If you go with a bakery cake you can have a conversation with your baker to help him understand your needs. If you are good at getting into the flow of creativity (or just give yourself permission to get creative) the preparation of cake can be even more fun. There are tons of ideas to choose from. And if you innovate you'll have something unique and splendid at the same time.
You can place a photo on your cake to draw the eye. One friend of mine picked a photograph of mom-to-be. Another friend used her ultrasound pic of baby on her cake or chose any good idea that's in harmony with your shower theme.
You can have an amazing baby shower and a terrific cake to match by using a bit of imagination mixed with fun. For your consideration:
- Baby clothesline cake- without frosting you can purchase a sheet of cake in your favorite flavor. Then you can color the frost baby blue by adding a few drops of blue food color to the white frost. Use the colorful icing to decorate it with horizontal line across the cake. Little baby clothes and blankets can add to the attraction if hanged across the cake. At the top, draw a little sun and at the bottom, draw grass and flowers to make it beautiful. Some cute quote can be added on the cake to look coherent with the whole idea.
- Also you can prepare two round cakes and color them baby blue all the way round. After this, you can hang the clothesline and quote on the top.
- You can use even the baby blocks to decorate your cake. Write, "It's a girl" on top and make it look more attractive.
So, while designing your special shower cake, you can get very innovative and enthusiastic so your results will be something you friends will be talking about. After all we're making memories now that folks can cherish for a lifetime.
