Hosting a baby shower is a fun for expectant parents. Though, only first babies used to have baby showers earlier, but now baby showers are being planned for every baby, including the adopted one. This is because each baby is a little angel, whose arrival is special for all, and it's so special, that it has to be shared and celebrated with close relatives and friends.

Mostly baby showers are organized in the advanced stage of pregnancy, which is usually 2 months prior to the date of delivery. Sometimes, people prefer to wait until the child is born before hosing a baby shower, while those adopting a baby prefer to wait until the adoption process is complete, and they get the custody of the child.

So, who throws the baby showers? Actually, any family friend, relatives or even expecting parents can host a baby shower. If you go by traditions, it is considered inadequate for a family member or a mother to be to throw baby shower, as this event is primarily a gift-giving event. Though you may like to decorate according to the sex of the baby, but some love a surprise. However, even if you know the gender of the unborn baby, it's a good idea to choose attractive gifts such as stuff toys, heart-shaped cushions, and flowers. Remember, everyone loves surprises, and an expecting mother would love it all the more.
